Industrial Maintenance Manager

About the role

Decora Powder Coatings Ltd. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of its manufacturing facilities in St. Catharines. The role combines hands‑on technical oversight with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring equipment reliability and safety across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reports and statistics related to maintenance activities.
• Read blueprints to determine dimensions, material requirements, and system layouts.
• Develop reports and proposals that illustrate the benefits of maintenance initiatives.
• Estimate costs for installing and maintaining equipment and services.
• Design and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive‑maintenance programs.
• Direct maintenance and repair of machinery, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Resolve product and service‑related problems and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Required profile

• 3 to less than 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to supervise a small team (1‑2 people) and manage a budget up to $100,000.
• Willingness to work shift, on‑call, evening, morning, weekend, and overtime as required.
• Fluency in English (French optional) and basic proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
