Independent General Contractor – Full Unit Turns (Multi‑Residential)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Independent General Contractor to lead full‑unit renovations across the Greater Toronto Area. The contractor will manage all aspects of apartment turn‑overs, from demolition to final cleaning, using a pre‑approved pricing structure and receiving bi‑weekly payments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complete apartment renovations, including demolition, framing, drywall, and finishing.
• Install flooring materials such as vinyl, laminate, and tile.
• Renovate kitchens and bathrooms, coordinating licensed electrical and plumbing trades.
• Manage painting, final cleaning, and turnover readiness.
• Schedule and oversee multiple trades to ensure on‑time, quality completion.
• Maintain compliance with the Ontario Building Code and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering full‑unit apartment turns.
• Ability to oversee multiple trades and manage project timelines.
• Valid WSIB coverage and general liability insurance.
• Own tools, equipment, reliable transportation, and an established crew or subcontractor network (preferred).
• Strong understanding of building codes and renovation processes.
