Independent Contractor Chiropodist – Ottawa

About the role

We are seeking an Independent Contractor Chiropodist to join our Ottawa clinic. The role offers the chance to build a strong patient base while delivering comprehensive foot care within a multidisciplinary team focused on diabetes and metabolic health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑scope chiropody services in accordance with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario standards.
• Assess, diagnose and treat foot conditions related to diabetes, biomechanics, skin and nail disorders.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, pharmacists, optometrists and other specialists to develop integrated care plans.
• Utilise the clinic’s PIPEDA‑compliant EMR, CRM and online booking systems for documentation and patient communication.
• Participate in ongoing product knowledge training for orthotics, compression therapy and over‑the‑counter supplies.

Required profile

• Registered Chiropodist in Ontario with a valid practice permit.
• Experience managing diabetic foot care and complex biomechanical cases.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using EMR and related clinical software.
• Knowledge of orthotics, compression garments and OTC foot care products.
