Inclusive Education Lead Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

The Parkland School Division is seeking a dedicated Inclusive Education Lead to join Prescott Learning Centre in Spruce Grove. This full‑time, probationary/continuing position focuses on designing and delivering high‑quality programs for students with diverse learning needs while fostering an inclusive school culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the principal, teachers, and support staff to develop inclusive curricula and instructional strategies.
• Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction for students with special needs.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and participate in the school’s Professional Learning Community.
• Assess student progress using a variety of tools and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all learners.

Required profile

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certification and knowledge of Alberta Education competencies.
• Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs.
• Strong commitment to equity, diversity, and student well‑being.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with families and the community.
