Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator will support a wide range of HR activities across the Packaging Services Business Unit, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and day‑to‑day HR operations. This hands‑on position offers the chance to contribute to broader HR projects while developing professional HR knowledge and skills.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate full‑cycle recruitment for hourly plant and office positions, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, offers and background checks.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding and participate in job fairs and community recruitment events.
• Manage onboarding and orientation activities, including medical assessments, benefits and retirement enrollment, and preparation of onboarding documentation.
• Support colleague engagement initiatives such as service awards, celebrations and workplace events.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees and managers, handling inquiries, resignation and retirement administration, exit interviews and coordination with payroll.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR/HSE files, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Assist with HR communications, training rollouts, performance‑related correspondence and contribute to HR projects, audits and process improvements.
