HR Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an organized, people‑focused HR Coordinator to join our collaborative Human Resources team. This position offers hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle, supporting staff across Canada and partnering with teams throughout North America.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, prepare employment and cross‑border entry letters.
• Maintain HRIS records for hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, compensation changes and employee updates.
• Support HR processes for both unionized and non‑unionized groups and conduct regular data audits.
• Respond to employee inquiries, help organize company events and drive social‑committee initiatives.
• Participate in HR projects, assist with Workday rollout, and support year‑end training and CSR reporting.
• Manage vendor statements, process invoices, and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree or certificate, preferably in Human Resources.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of confidentiality.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or PeopleSoft.
