HR Business Partner – Strategic HR Role (Remote, Canada)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor for multiple business units across Canada. This remote position will help translate business priorities into people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers and senior leaders to design and implement talent programs, including performance cycles, compensation reviews, engagement surveys, and learning initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, promotions, offboarding, and exits.
• Provide coaching on employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness.
• Use data and business insights to identify trends, recommend solutions, and improve retention outcomes.
• Support complex employee‑relations cases, investigations, and escalations in collaboration with internal and external experts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field; SHRM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable strategic HR role.
• Strong background in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
• Experience in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments and solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication, coaching, conflict‑resolution, and relationship‑building abilities.
