Housekeeping Supervisor – Lead a dedicated team

About the role

Lead where care, consistency, and teamwork come together! Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, BC is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our hardworking and dedicated housekeeping team. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that supports day‑to‑day operations and upholds the high standards that define a Black Rock Oceanfront Resort guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assign rooms and common areas to Room Attendants.
• Conduct walk‑throughs and inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness meets resort standards.
• Help open and close daily housekeeping operations.
• Support and train new and existing team members.
• Communicate effectively with laundry and other departments.
• Monitor supplies, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture.

Required skills

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality leadership.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong English language skills.
