Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Western Budget Motel is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Manager to lead its housekeeping team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and update operational procedures for housekeeping activities.
• Select, purchase, and manage equipment, supplies, uniforms, and laundry services.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise housekeeping supervisors and crew schedules, including shift, morning, day, and weekend coverage.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
• Prepare budgets, payrolls, and maintain inventory records.
• Oversee maintenance and repair services related to housekeeping areas.
• Coordinate dry‑cleaning, valet services, and respond promptly to guest complaints.
• Supervise a team of 3‑4 staff members, providing mentorship and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping supervision.
• Ability to manage budgets, payrolls, and inventory effectively.
