Housekeeper – Hotel/Motel (Non‑Private)

About the role

The Western Budget Motel is looking for a reliable housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort across all public and back‑of‑house areas. This full‑time, permanent position does not involve private households and offers on‑site work in a fast‑paced motel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and clean upholstered items.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstery.
• Make beds, change sheets and ensure rooms are guest‑ready.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other high‑traffic areas.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Provide basic information on facilities to guests.
• Pick up debris, empty trash containers and maintain waste areas.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Physical stamina for bending, crouching, kneeling and handling heavy loads.
• Attention to detail in repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
