Housekeeping Attendant – Full‑Time

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at Hospitality Inn Hotel in Port Alberni, BC. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable rooms and public areas, ensuring guests enjoy a pleasant stay. The role involves daily cleaning, guest service, and inventory management in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors in rooms and corridors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies and upholstered pieces.
• Make beds, change sheets and restock towels and toiletries.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean and disinfect elevators and public areas.
• Handle and report lost‑and‑found items.
• Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or information.
• Pick up debris, empty trash containers and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
• Stock linen closets and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, days and weekends.
• Reliability and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset.
