About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Front Desk Clerk to join the Alexandra Hotel team in Toronto. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience while providing accurate information about the hotel and the surrounding area.

Key responsibilities

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • Take, cancel, and modify room reservations.
  • Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local points of interest.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and handle guest inquiries.
  • Deliver high‑quality customer service throughout the shift.

Required profile

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
  • Strong communication skills and a courteous attitude.
