Hospitalist Physician – Langley Memorial Hospital

About the role

Fraser Health is seeking dedicated physicians to join the hospital medicine program at Langley Memorial Hospital. The role offers a permanent acute‑care practice within a collaborative, inter‑professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Admit and manage care for unattached patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
• Provide supportive care for selected surgical and specialty medical patients.
• Participate in rounding lines, admission shifts, overnight shifts, and virtual shifts with clinical associate support.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives that have reduced mortality ratios and length of stay.

Required profile

• Licensed (or eligible) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Holder of CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP credentials.
• ACLS certification strongly suggested.
• Hospitalist experience, fellowship, or membership in professional hospital medicine societies is an asset.
• Passion for acute care, teamwork, and personal improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
