About the role

Fraser Health is seeking physicians to join the hospital medicine program at Langley Memorial Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality inpatient care within a collaborative, inter‑professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Admit and manage care for unattached patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
• Provide supportive care for selected surgical and specialty medical patients.
• Participate in rounding lines, admission shifts, overnight shifts, and virtual shifts as scheduled.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• License or eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• CCFP (or equivalent) or FRCP credentials.
• ACLS certification strongly suggested.
• Hospitalist experience, fellowship, or membership in professional hospital medicine societies is an asset.
• Commitment to acute‑care medicine, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
