Hospitalist – Full-time or Part-time

About the role

Cariboo Memorial Hospital is seeking a Hospitalist to join its acute inpatient medicine team in Williams Lake. The position offers a supportive environment with strong teamwork, quality‑improvement focus, and the chance to practice in a welcoming community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide most‑responsible‑physician (MRP) care for complex medical patients.
• Co‑manage surgical patients and deliver palliative care.
• Manage an average of 12‑16 inpatients per 8‑hour shift.
• Collaborate closely with CMH specialists and family physicians.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary rounds.

Required profile

• New graduates or experienced Hospitalists with a passion for patient care.
• Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and community engagement.
• Flexibility for full‑time, part‑time, or locum arrangements.
• Interest in leadership development through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 program.
