Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

The Home Support Worker provides essential personal care and assistance to elderly clients in their homes. This permanent, full‑time position involves a range of supportive tasks to promote client wellbeing and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
• Assist with medication administration and monitor health status.
• Support regular exercise such as walking and help with feeding.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, plan therapeutic diets, and shop for food supplies.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean living environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Required profile

• Punctual, reliable, and dependable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and client‑focused attitude.
• Patience, honesty, and good judgement.
• Ability to handle up to 9 kg (20 lb) of weight.

Required skills

• CPR Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.
