Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

Aruga Home Care Inc. is seeking compassionate Home Support Workers to provide essential personal care and assistance to clients in Calgary. You will work across various locations, delivering bedside care, medication administration, and daily living support in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including medication administration.
• Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
• Support regular exercise such as walking and help with mobility.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well‑being.

Required profile

• Dependable, punctual, and client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Physically able to bend, crouch, kneel, lift heavy loads and sustain walking or standing for extended periods.
• Flexible, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Honest, patient, and capable of exercising good judgment in care situations.
