About the role

We are seeking a reliable child caregiver to work in a private home in West Vancouver. The role involves providing comprehensive care for infants and children while the parents are away. The position is full‑time and may include optional live‑in accommodation at no charge, though this is not a condition of employment.

Key responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
Discipline children according to the parents' preferred methods.
Teach personal hygiene and support social development.
Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
Organize games, outings and other activities.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Supervise children’s emotional well‑being.

Required profile

Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of child‑care experience.
Organized and reliable.
