Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time (Scarborough, ON)

About the role

This full‑time position provides in‑home child care for a private household in Scarborough. You will be responsible for the safety, well‑being and development of infants and children while supporting the family with household tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Change diapers, sterilise bottles and prepare formula.
• Bath, dress, feed infants and children and prepare nutritious meals.
• Organise games, outings and social activities, and support personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain daily activity and health records, and ensure a safe, healthy environment.
• Shop for food and household supplies, and assume full household responsibility in parents’ absence.
• Transport children to school, appointments and extracurricular activities.
• Assist with homework and tend to children’s emotional well‑being.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience caring for infants and children, including those with allergies or asthma.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Clear criminal record, vulnerable sector check and references.
• Own transportation (public transport also available).
