Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join a family in North York on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role involves caring for children of various ages within the family’s residence, ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development while supporting household routines.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Bath, dress, feed, and supervise infants and children, promoting personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain daily activity and health records, and ensure a safe, healthy home environment.
• Organise games, outings, and educational activities; prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities, and assist with homework.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral communication, client‑focus, and reliability.
• Patience, flexibility, initiative, good judgement, and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 9 kg (20 lb).
• Reference required; non‑smoking work environment.
