Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated home child care provider to look after children in the employer’s home in Winnipeg. The role includes supervising children, light housekeeping, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are absent, including light cleaning and housekeeping.
• Supervise and care for children, maintain a safe and healthy environment, and discipline according to parents’ methods.
• Organize games, outings, and educational activities; help with homework and emotional well‑being.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and handle food‑related tasks.
• Transport children to and from school, appointments, and family trips, assisting with supervision during travel.

Required profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (additional Hindi/Punjabi is a plus).
• Organized, patient, honest, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong time‑management abilities.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
