Home Child Care Provider – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable home child care provider to join a private household in North York. The role is full‑time and involves caring for infants and children of various ages while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Teach personal hygiene and support social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Prepare children for rest periods and supervise nap times.
• Supervise a multi‑aged group, tending to emotional well‑being.
• Handle items up to 9 kg.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Strong client focus, flexibility and initiative.
• Good judgement, organization and reliability.
• Excellent time‑management, patience and honesty.
• Comfortable using public transportation.
