High School Math & Science Tutor (Part-time Contract)

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors of Simcoe & Grey County is seeking enthusiastic High School Math & Science Tutors to provide one‑on‑one, in‑home instruction in Collingwood, Ontario. This part‑time contract role supports students from Grade 9‑12 in meeting Ontario curriculum standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic support aligned with Ontario curriculum standards.
• Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in mathematics and science.
• Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student’s needs.
• Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report progress and goals.

• Committed to providing exceptional, personalized instruction and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of learning styles and student needs.
• Professional, punctual, and organized.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree and meet at least one of the listed teaching or experience criteria.
