About the role
We are looking for a reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic Helper to support our maintenance team in Abbotsford, BC. This is a permanent full‑time position with an hourly wage of $18.25. The successful candidate will work onsite at S & K Trucking Ltd and will assist tradespersons while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Move tools, equipment and other materials as required.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the public.
- Assist tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Required profile
- No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience.
- Physically demanding work, able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb).
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Early‑morning and weekend shifts may be required.
