Health Care Assistant - Residential Care

As a Health Care Assistant in a residential setting, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care that respects the dignity, choices, and individual routines of our diverse residents.

Main Missions

• Provide essential assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support resident mobility and assist with personal laundry and skin care needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Facilitate social engagement by helping organize and implement scheduled leisure activities.
• Assist with nutritional needs, including meal preparation (tea, coffee, snacks) and providing direct assistance during mealtimes.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' behavior, cognitive abilities, or participation levels to the clinical team.
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and volunteers regarding daily schedules and care updates.
