Health and Safety Incident & Training Coordinator

About the role

The Health and Safety Incident & Training Coordinator will manage workplace incident reporting, tracking and analysis while delivering health and safety training across ACCIONA’s projects in Ontario. This position supports a strong safety culture by ensuring accurate records, timely investigations and effective training programs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update safety records, incident reports and training documentation in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Organise safety‑related documents to ensure accessibility, traceability and proper retention.
• Support implementation of health and safety training programs, coordinating schedules, onboarding, orientations, mandatory and specialised sessions.
• Develop, update and maintain training materials such as toolbox talks, presentations and site‑specific content.
• Promote safe work practices, proper PPE use and emergency procedures through training activities.
• Identify training needs, track completion and expiry dates, and maintain competency matrices.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping of certifications and training data in relevant systems.
