About the role
The Guest Services Manager will anticipate and exceed the needs of guests and team members, model superior customer service, control costs, and support the property’s revenue strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Act as property manager on duty when assigned.
- Respond to guest needs and maintain positive guest relations.
- Assist the General Manager with reporting, analysis, and revenue‑management activities.
- Participate in sales, marketing, and lead‑generation initiatives.
- Conduct hiring, orientation, and ongoing training for front‑desk personnel.
- Ensure compliance with policies, security, cash handling, and safety procedures.
- Lead staff meetings, monitor performance, and manage departmental budgets.
- Monitor customer‑service levels and develop plans to improve satisfaction.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of hotel industry experience with progressive responsibility.
- 1‑2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience with accounting functions such as expenses, payroll and budgeting.
- Experience in inventory management.
- High School Diploma or GED; Hospitality Management diploma considered an asset.
