Guest Services Associate – Night Auditor

About the role

The Guest Services Associate / Night Auditor ensures the property’s quality, cleanliness and service are consistently maintained. The role requires a proactive, positive approach to guest care and contributes to room revenue. This is a full‑time, overnight position at a fast‑growing Microtel hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform check‑ins and check‑outs with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle guest requests, queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide local information, restaurant recommendations and transportation assistance.
• Operate front‑desk equipment including the reservation system, hotel switchboard, key‑card machines, copier and scanner.
• Complete delegated paperwork, basic accounting, data analysis and processing.
• Maintain a clean workspace and coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance for seamless operations.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of customer‑service experience; hospitality experience is an asset.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Team‑player attitude with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Reservation system operation.
• Hotel switchboard usage.
• Key‑card machine operation.
• Basic data analysis and processing.
• Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners.
