Guest Room Attendant – Housekeeping

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at TownePlace Suites By Marriott as a Guest Room Attendant. You will ensure each guest room meets the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and comfort, contributing to a welcoming stay for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, tiles, and floor surfaces using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
• Strip, make, and change beds, handling linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, picture frames, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Vacuum rooms, empty trash, and restock amenities, linens, and supplies.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve and deliver them, and restock heavy carts.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and mark completion.
• Follow attendance rules and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Self‑starting attitude with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Team‑oriented mindset, willing to assist coworkers.
• Professional appearance and courteous interaction with guests.

Required skills

• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and safe usage.
• Operation of various cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Capability to scrub, scour, and work in confined spaces while extending arms overhead.
