Group Home Manager

About the role

The Group Home Manager leads the delivery of social and community service programs within a residential setting. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager ensures high‑quality care for residents while fostering a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the delivery of social and community service programs for residents.
• Resolve conflict situations promptly and effectively.
• Participate as an active member of an interdisciplinary team working with client groups.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate a team of 5‑10 staff members.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or comparable 1‑2 year diploma in Child Care and Support Services Management, Developmental Services, Social Work or related field.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in community or residential services.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel as needed.
• Dependable, proactive, organized, and able to work well in a team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a solid ethical foundation.
