Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a technically sharp, self‑driven CPA to lead the group’s financial reporting and consolidation function. Reporting to the VP Finance, this high‑visibility position will support a rapidly growing multi‑entity organization preparing for a public listing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for 30+ legal entities under IFRS, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
• Act as internal IFRS subject‑matter expert on complex areas such as business combinations (IFRS 3), lease accounting (IFRS 16), impairment testing, share‑option valuations and revenue recognition.
• Develop and maintain accounting policy notes, financial statement disclosures and audit‑ready working papers.
• Support IPO and capital‑markets readiness by establishing public‑company reporting standards, MD&A preparation and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Own the external audit process and liaise with auditors, tax advisors and consultants.
• Drive financial integration of acquired businesses, harmonising accounting policies and consolidating systems.
• Continuously improve close processes, reduce timelines and enhance automation, leveraging Vena, Microsoft D365 Business Central and Sage Intacct.

Required profile

• CPA designation with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Extensive experience in IFRS financial reporting and consolidation for large, multi‑entity groups.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently without people‑management responsibilities.
• Experience supporting IPO or public‑company reporting initiatives.
• Proven track record in M&A integration and internal control development.
