About the role
We are seeking a Grocery Department Manager to lead our Whitby, ON store’s grocery section. This full‑time day position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining high merchandising standards.
Key responsibilities
- Anticipate and prioritize customer needs to enhance satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of associates, fostering growth and performance.
- Maintain merchandising and operational standards across the department.
- Achieve departmental sales targets and meet financial objectives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in retail or food‑service management.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with a track record of building loyalty.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Preference for candidates with prior department‑specific experience.
