Graphics Specialist

About the role

The Starfish Canada is looking for a Graphics Specialist to join its marketing team on a full‑time student basis. You will use visual storytelling to amplify climate‑action programs across digital and print channels, helping to grow reach and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to design visual assets for digital campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, email and other platforms.
• Create print materials such as magazines, banners, and pamphlets that align with brand identity.
• Produce video edits and motion‑graphics for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
• Maintain consistent brand guidelines across all visual outputs.
• Coordinate marketing efforts across programs, balancing routine work, new initiatives and special projects.

Required profile

• Under 30 years old and enrolled as a post‑secondary student in Canada.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada with a valid SIN.
• Commitment to an eight‑month term preferred.
• Self‑identifies as a woman, non‑binary, Indigenous, visible minority, new Canadian or person with a disability (priority consideration).

What we offer

• $23.28 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.
• $450 professional development fund.
• Laptop provided or $60 annual reimbursement for personal device.
• Two weeks paid time off in late December/early January and extended long weekends for select holidays.
