About the role
The School of Graduate Studies is seeking a lecturer to deliver a course on the philosophy and determinants of health. The role involves guiding graduate students through the theoretical foundations, policy implications, and complex interrelationships of health determinants.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lectures covering the development of health determinant philosophy.
- Facilitate student exploration of the relationship between health determinants and population health status.
- Guide discussions on healthy public policy development addressing multiple health determinants.
- Assess student work and provide feedback on policy analysis and philosophical concepts.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., public health, health policy, sociology, philosophy of health).
- Strong academic background in health determinants and public policy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Moodle platform experience.
