About the role
This position involves delivering a graduate‑level course that introduces students to the organization of the Canadian health system, its key actors, comparative health systems, and current critical issues. The role is situated within the School of Graduate Studies and requires a strong academic background and effective communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lectures covering the Canadian health system, comparative analyses, and emerging challenges.
- Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
- Utilize the Moodle platform to manage course content, facilitate online discussions, and track student progress.
- Provide guidance and feedback to graduate students throughout the semester.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., health policy, public health, sociology, or related field).
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate digital learning environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Experience with the Moodle learning management system (preferred).
