Grade Four Classroom Teacher (Temporary, 2026-2027)

About the role

Grasslands Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Grade Four Classroom Teacher for Griffin Park School for the 2026/2027 school year. This temporary, full‑time position will support a diverse student body and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Grade Four curriculum aligned with provincial standards.
• Create inclusive and engaging lesson plans that reflect the multicultural makeup of the school community.
• Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to promote student success.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and community events.

Required profile

• Valid teaching certification for Alberta elementary education.
• Previous experience teaching at the elementary level.
• Commitment to inclusive education and cultural responsiveness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
