Government Compliance Technical Specialist

About the role

BeyondTrust is seeking a Government Compliance Technical Specialist to join the Trust & Assurance team. This full‑time individual contributor will own the day‑to‑day technical execution of government compliance programs such as FedRAMP Moderate, TX‑RAMP, IRAP and emerging public‑sector frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical build activities for FedRAMP 20x readiness, interpreting Key Security Indicators (KSIs) and delivering machine‑readable compliance outputs.
• Manage continuous monitoring for FedRAMP Moderate/Class C, including POA&M tracking, deviation requests and evidence collection.
• Author and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Decision Records (SDRs) and other compliance documentation in both human and machine readable formats.
• Coordinate with engineering, security and cloud operations to validate control implementation and close compliance gaps.
• Automate evidence collection pipelines and health tracking for key security indicators.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of FedRAMP program management experience, including SSP authorship and POA&M management.
• 4–7 years of experience in information security, compliance or GRC within a fast‑paced cybersecurity product environment.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple workstreams and communicate technical compliance information to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800‑53 controls and their implementation in cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience with FedRAMP 20x concepts, KSIs and machine‑readable evidence frameworks.
• Experience building or supporting automated compliance evidence pipelines.
• Familiarity with GRC tooling for findings management and program tracking.
