Cloud Engineer

About the role

BeyondTrust is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, secure, and support mission‑critical cloud infrastructure that powers reliable services for users worldwide. You will work in a flexible, trust‑focused environment where continuous learning and impact are valued.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multi‑account AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, ensuring availability, performance, and health.
• Design, deploy, and secure networking solutions such as VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, and related routing services.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules, remote state management, and version‑controlled configurations.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, including self‑hosted runners.
• Troubleshoot incidents, apply patches, validate backup/recovery, and optimize for cost and performance.
• Administer identity federation, authentication, authorization, and privileged access controls across cloud platforms.
• Enforce governance standards, tagging, compliance, and capacity planning through auditable changes.

Required profile

• 2+ years designing, securing, and managing large cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with core AWS services, networking, compute, storage, and automation.
• 2+ years developing Terraform modules or other IaC solutions.
• 2+ years experience with AWS IAM, roles, policies, and permissions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
