About the role
The Global Human Resources Manager will partner closely with leaders across multiple departments and geographies to ensure people practices align with JMT's culture, values, and business objectives. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution of day‑to‑day HR activities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead global talent acquisition initiatives, including recruitment outreach, employer branding, and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to identify workforce needs and support strategic hiring decisions across all departments and regions.
- Support global workforce planning, succession planning, and talent forecasting.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze HR dashboards and workforce reports to provide actionable insights.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, retention, absenteeism, attendance and employee engagement.
- Analyze workforce trends and employee data to improve employee experience and organizational performance.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pay practices across regions.
- Identify turnover patterns, workforce risks, and retention opportunities, recommending strategies.
- Partner with department leaders to translate analytics into strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, reporting, and documentation.
- Administer and optimize HRIS systems while collaborating with external vendors.
- Support learning, leadership development, and career progression initiatives.
Required profile
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience supporting multiple business functions.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple countries or regions (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices in North America and India.
- Experience in professional services, engineering, construction, technology, or consulting environments (asset).
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and performance management matters.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPHR designation (or working toward) considered an asset.
- Based in Winnipeg with a valid passport and ability to travel to the USA and India.
