Global Head of Supply Chain

About the role

The Global Head of Supply Chain will own and shape the end‑to‑end supply chain for a worldwide agricultural commodities business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive performance across procurement, logistics, freight, inventory and supply planning while managing risk and working capital across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide global leadership for procurement, logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory and distribution.
• Lead logistics and freight strategy, including carrier management, contract negotiations, routing optimisation and cost control.
• Partner with Trading and Commercial teams to align supply‑chain execution with market dynamics and customer commitments.
• Oversee inventory planning, working‑capital performance and risk management.
• Establish and track supply‑chain KPIs, driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop global governance, controls and standardised processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology and R&D on budgeting, forecasting and digital‑tool adoption.
• Lead, coach and develop regional teams, supporting integration and scaling across markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree is an asset.
• 15+ years of progressive global supply‑chain leadership experience, preferably in commodities, agriculture or international trade.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑region supply chains with significant logistics and inventory scope.
• Strong commercial acumen and executive presence with a hands‑on leadership style.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 CAD per year.
• Full‑time permanent position based on‑site in Etobicoke, ON.
