General Farm Labourer (Seasonal)

About the role
This seasonal position involves working on a farm in Simcoe, ON, handling fresh produce from harvest to market. You will support the team in a fast‑paced environment, performing a variety of hands‑on tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non‑marketable lots.
- Grade vegetables and fruits by size, shape, colour and volume.
- Pack fruits and vegetables for shipment.
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate, seed‑cut, fertilise and spray crops.
- Harvest crops and operate/maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Examine product quality and readiness for market.
Required profile
- Organised and reliable team player.
- Quick learner able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, crouching, kneeling and handling loads up to 23 kg.
