General Construction Labourer

About the role

Join Impressions Group Ottawa Inc. as a General Construction Labourer in Kanata. You will work on a variety of residential and driveway projects, handling concrete, asphalt and earth‑moving tasks in an outdoor, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications.
• Clean, pile and remove salvaged materials and rubble.
• Operate and tend to construction machines and hand tools.
• Maintain a safe, tidy work site.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• WHMIS certification.
• Ability to work outdoors in dusty, fast‑paced environments.
• Physical capacity to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence.
• Dependable, reliable team player willing to learn on the job.
