About the role

The restaurant is seeking a full‑time line cook to join its kitchen team at a rural truck‑stop location in Boyle, Alberta. The position includes staff accommodation and offers a fast‑paced environment where you will prepare a variety of dishes for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient service.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Inspect kitchen and food‑service areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and reorder as needed.
• Clean kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas on a daily basis.
• Manage kitchen operations, including coordinating with team members during busy periods.
