Full‑Time Clinic Nurse (RN) – Oakville

About the role

Medcan is seeking a full‑time Clinic Nurse (RN) to join its high‑performance nursing team at the Oakville clinic. The role supports Monday‑Saturday shifts, delivering screening and primary‑care nursing services during Annual Health Assessments, Year‑Round Care appointments, and other clinic services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immunization and vaccination education and administration.
• Conduct health assessments and educate patients on cardiac risk factors and other nursing topics.
• Perform primary‑care procedures such as ear syringing, dressing changes, and suture/staple removal.
• Assist physicians with basic nursing tasks.
• Administer maintenance medications including Vitamin B12, testosterone, and allergy serums.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Monitor patient flow through the clinic and support travel‑clinic client education and vaccination.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; primary‑care or acute‑care background preferred.
• Understanding of publicly‑funded vaccine schedules and travel vaccines is an asset.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification.
• Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Experience in travel health, occupational health or pediatric nursing is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook and MS Word.
