About the role

An-Noor Private School is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Classroom Teacher to join its close‑knit community in Amherstburg, Ontario. The successful candidate will create engaging, standards‑aligned lessons and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional lessons that meet the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to meet varied learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect and collaboration.
• Communicate regularly with families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Required profile

• Valid teaching certification or licensure and completion of a recognized teacher education program.
• Experience working in school settings and supporting diverse learners; familiarity with the Ontario curriculum is an asset.
• Commitment to inclusive, equitable education and ongoing professional growth.
