About the role

Join COBS Bread as a Sales Assistant and become part of a team that delivers fresh, high‑quality baked goods to the community. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a friendly bakery environment where you’ll interact with loyal customers and learn the basics of baking and retail.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional in‑bakery customer experience and build relationships with regular patrons.
• Merchandise products and execute marketing campaigns within the store.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery, assisting with production and basic baking tasks as needed.
• Handle cash, credit and debit transactions accurately.
• Lift and move products up to 22 kg and perform other physical tasks required for daily operations.

• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor and a passion for delivering great service.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and eager to learn new skills.
• Team‑player who enjoys working with people.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Retail experience and cash‑handling ability are strong assets.
