Full-time Nanny – Private Household in Montreal

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated full‑time nanny to join a private household in Montreal. The role involves caring for children, maintaining a safe home environment, and supporting the family with daily household tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for children’s care when parents are absent.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and cleaning duties.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the family.
• Organise games, outings and educational activities for children.
• Discipline and guide children according to parents’ methods.
• Maintain daily records of children’s activities and health information.
• Transport children to school, appointments and family trips.
• Provide emotional support and promote social development.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1‑2 years of experience in childcare or household support.
• First Aid certification.
• Ability to handle loads up to 9 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Clear background checks (child abuse registry, criminal record, drug test, medical exam).
• Flexible, reliable, patient and honest attitude.
