About the role
We are looking for a reliable Dump Truck Driver to join N & G Trucking Ltd. in Surrey, BC. The position involves operating dump trucks to transport goods across various sites, with training provided for new drivers.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated dump trucks to transport materials.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on the truck.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Valid Class 1 or A driver’s licence with Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
- Clean driving record and willingness to undergo a driving record check and drug test.
- Ability to work in dusty environments and travel extended periods, including overnight.
- Strong oral communication, good judgement, organized and reliable.
Required skills
- Air Brake (Z) endorsement.
- Class 1 or A driver’s licence.
