Full-time Dishwasher – Hotel & Conference Centre

About the role

We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support the food‑service operations at the Best Western Plus Norwester Hotel & Conference Centre in Thunder Bay. This permanent, full‑time position ensures that all kitchen and dining areas remain clean, sanitary and ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashers and manually wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and load buspans for washing.
• Sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, workstations, cupboards and storage areas.
• Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving stations.
• Receive, unpack and store food supplies in refrigerators, freezers and pantry areas.
• Prepare simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and assist with basic food preparation.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to peel, slice, trim and clean foodstuffs.
• Manage waste by removing garbage, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors.
