Food Service Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to lead our restaurant team in Thunder Bay. The role involves ensuring food quality, safety, and efficient service while managing staff schedules and inventory.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff.
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to meet language requirements (English or French).
